27th IFFK Delegate Registration Begins Today.

27th IFFK Delegate Registration Begins Today.

Registration for the 27th International Film Festival has begun today. Delegate registration started at 10 a.m. on Friday, November 11. This via the link provided on the website www.iffk.in. The delegate fee is Rs 500 for students and Rs 1000 for the general public. Registration can also be done in person through the delegate cell set up at Tagore Theatre, the main venue of the IFFK.

 
The IFFK will be held in Trivandrum from December 9 to 16. The fair is being held in 14 theatres in the capital. The IFFK will have general categories like "International Competition Category," "Indian Cinema Now," "Malayalam Cinema Today," "World Cinema," and other packages. Meanwhile, 10 foreign films have been selected for the competition section in IFFK. The competition category has films from countries like Israel, Iran, Russia, and Turkey. "Hoopoj/Shane Bay Ser" (Director: Mehdi Ghazanfari, Iran); "Ker" (Director: Tan Pirselimoglu, Turkey, Greece, France) "Concerned Citizen" (Director: Idan Haguel, Israel), "Cordially Yours" (Director: Aymer Labaki, Brazil), "Alam" (Director: Firaz Khoury Tunisia, Palestine, France, Saudi Arabia, Qatar), "Convenience Store" (Director: Michael Borodin, Russia, Slovenia, Turkey), are a few among them.
 
Mammootty's "Nanpakal Nerathu Mayakkam," directed by Lijo Jose Pellissery, and Mahesh Narayanan's "Aariyippu" are the Malayalam films in the international competition category.
