Over his career, Bollywood actor Aamir Khan has had various hits. He delivered some legendary performances that are worth highlighting, ranging from Lagaan to Dangal. The actor had a challenging year as his movie didn't do well at the box office. But, there have been rumours that Aamir is now leaning towards acting in an action movie.
According to a source in the sector, Aamir is looking for what should be his next project and is interested in producing an action film. “Aamir has always been very good with action, and you can see that in films like Dhoom 3; Ghajini, Sarfarosh, and Ghulam. He took a break in between as he didn't want to repeat himself with similar content. But now, Aamir is keeping an eye out for a script which will present him with an opportunity to do thrilling action”, a source revealed.
The source further said that Aamir spoke with Yash Raj Productions and asked if there was any chance to revive his Sahir and Samar characters for a new Dhoom movie.
According to the rumours, Aamir decided to produce the movie Campeones instead of taking the lead role in the Spanish movie Campeones, which was disclosed last year. Aamir had discussed this at a press conference. He said that while Campeones was a heartwarming story, he is leaving the movie as he wanted to take a break and spend time with his family. It is yet unknown what Mr. Perfectionist will ultimately choose.
The last time we saw Aamir Khan was in Laal Singh Chadha. The film did poorly at the box office. When Aamir appeared at an event in Delhi, he discussed his profession and said that he would take a year and a half break from acting.
