Actor Karthik gets hospitalised again

Veteran actor Karthik, fondly called as Navarasa Nayagan by fans, was hospitalised in Chennai. He is now in the Intensive Care Unit of private hospital aftfer he suffered from breathing issues and fluctuating blood pressure. He has now been tested for the novel coronavirus and results are awaited. Photos of actor Karthik getting treatment at the hospital is doing the rounds on social media. This is the second time that actor Karthik is admitted to a private hospital after he suffered a minor setback in terms of his health.

Earlier, Karthik was admitted to a private hospital on March 21 for the same issue. The doctors who treated him asked him to take complete rest. However, actor Karthik disregarded his doctor's advice and was touring in Madurai and areas of Rajapalayalm to campaign for the ADMK and BJP alliance. The doctors who treated Karthik recently have now adviced him to take complete rest for about three weeks. Now that the polling in Tamil Nadu elections is half way done, Karthik is expected to take rest at home to recover.
