It is already known that actor Nikhil Siddharth got engaged to Bangalore based doctor Pallavi Varma. They were actually supposed to tie the knot in the third week of April. But they have now decided to postpone the wedding due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
Nikhil and Pallavi got engaged in February this year. The actor has revealed in an interview that he met Pallavi through a mutual friend. Over time, they became close friends with each other. When they went to Goa last year for a vacation, Nikhil proposed to her. Pallavi accepted in a few days. Both of them took time in convincing their parents. After their parents' approval, the couple got engaged in a private ceremony. They had initially decided to have a grand wedding this month. But unfortunately, it has now got postponed. The new wedding date will get fixed very soon.
A few days back, hero Nithiin had also revealed that he is postponing his wedding due to the coronavirus outbreak. Now, Nikhil has joined that list.
On the career front, Nikhil scored a success with his last film Arjun Suravaram. He is currently acting in two films, Karthikeya 2 and 18 pages. Karthikeya 2 is the sequel of the 2014 film of the same name. Directed by Chandoo Mondeti, this film features Swati Reddy as the female lead. There will be another actress as well in the sequel. On the flip side, 18 pages is being directed by Surya Pratap of Kumari 21 fame. GA2 Pictures is bankrolling this film.
