Actress Aditi Shankar, who will portray the female lead, has just joined the cast of actor Sivakarthikeyan's movie "Maaveeran," which is being directed by Madonne Ashwin of "Mandela" fame. Yesterday, the young actress started filming for her parts in the movie "Viruman," which also features Karthi.
The attractive actress posted a photo of herself from Day 1 of the "Maaveeran" filming on her social media profile. The characters' appearances will be consistent with the fact that the movie is set in and around Chennai.
Yogi Babu has reportedly joined the cast of the movie, but the most recent news is that prominent YouTuber Monisha Blessy will reportedly play Sivakarthikeyan's younger sister. Veteran actress Sarita plays Sivakarthikeyan's mother in the movie, with filmmaker Mysskin portraying the villain. Bharath Sankar is the composer of the film's music.
Sivakarthikeyan, on the other hand, is about to finish work on the Tamil-Telugu bilingual 'Prince,' directed by Anudeep, and the film is set to be released this Diwali. Sivakarthikeyan has recently confirmed a collaboration with Rajkumar Periyasamy for a film provisionally named 'SK 21,' which will be a multilingual drama.
