After Ayyappanum Koshiyum, Sithara Entertainments acquires the Telugu remake rights of another Malayalam film Kappela

Already the production house grabbed a couple of Malayalam movies and now they are going to come up with this new movie Kapppela too.

After Ayyappanum Koshiyum, Sithara Entertainments acquires the Telugu remake rights of another Malayalam film Kappela

Popular production house Sithara Entertainments is on a spree of buying the remake rights of recent Malayalam hits. We are already aware that they bought the remake rights of Ayyappanum Koshiyum. Now, they have acquired the remake rights of yet another Malayalam film Kappela. The makers will announce more details about this movie very soon.
 
According to the sources, the producers are now planning to rope in a noted director to helm this project. At the same time, they are also looking for sharp young actors to play the lead roles. Kappela featured Anna Ben, Roshan Mathew, and Sreenath Bhasi in the lead roles. It got directed by debutant Mohammed Musthafa. Kappela had hit the screens on March 6. But the lockdown had affected the theatrical run of the movie. However, it got wide reception when it was out recently on Netflix. Right from audiences to noted filmmakers like Anurag Kashyap and Tharun Bhascker, everyone is praising the movie. Kappela is the story of a young girl who falls in love with an auto driver over a phone conversation.
 
Right now, producer Surya Devara Naga Vamsi is in the works of Ayyapanum Koshiyum remake. Ayyare and Appatlo Okadundevadu fame Sagar Chandra to helm this project. Ravi Teja and Rana Daggubati will play the lead roles in this movie. The shooting of this movie will begin in September. Sithara Entertainments is also bankrolling Nithiin's upcoming movie Rang De. Venky Atluri is directing the project.
