Aishwarya Lekshmi opens up about her Covid-19 diagnosis

Malayalam and Tamil actress Aishwarya Lekshmi took to Instagram to reveal that she has tested positive for the novel coronavirus. Earlier, a source close to Aishwarya confirmed her diagnosis to a popular entertainment portal. Aishwarya took a while to talk about why and how she contracted the virus. She also posted a video explaining her condition and requested everyone to be safe. She captioned the video, "Hola! You are looking at a newly diagnosed Covid patient. I wore masks, sanitized, maintained social distancing, and did everything else that came recommended.. but at some point, I grew a tiny bit tired of how this was affecting my “ normal life”... and took it easy.".

She also added, "Fast forward to a few days later, Here I am.. posting pictures on IG, doing Yoga to increase lung capacity, taking turmeric latte, antivirals, multivitamins, communicating with my parents on the balcony and finally realising... this was so not worth it… mask up, do everything else u need to... don’t take it for granted.. cos Winter is surely coming." Aishwarya Lekshmi is now waiting for the release of Jagame Thandhiram on Netflix.
