Celebrities are contributing immensely to make the COVID-19 situation easier. Sonu Sood helped in arranging transportation for the migrants and recently Ajay Devgn did his bit too. He paid for all the oxygen cylinders and portable ventilators for a new hospital in Dharavi. The contribution was done by his production house, Ajay Devgn Films Foundation (ADFF). He also provided ration kits to 700 families of Dharavi. The plot for the new Dharavi hospital got approved over an earlier plan for a Maharashtra Nature Park. However, due to the increase in cases in Mumbai, the hospital plan was decided over the park.

The talks about Devgn's help got confirmed by Kiran Dighavkar, the assistant municipal commissioner of G-North. He said that as the work started Ajay approached the civil officers and offered to help. He further informed that they told Ajay that they needed oxygen cylinder and two portable ventilators. He went ahead and agreed to it.
Dighavkar further talked about the hospital. He said there is an institutional quarantine centre across the road. It took them 15 days to finish the hospital especially since Dharavi is the hub of COVID-19.
Sood tweeted, "If you are in Mumbai and want to go home, please call on this number. And tell us - How many of your are there? What's your current location? And where do you want to go? Me and my team will try to help as much as possible." To which Devgn replied, "The sensitive nature of the work that you are doing with sending migrant workers back to their homes safely is exemplary. More strength to you, Sonu @SonuSood #IndiaFightsCorona #StayHomeStaySafe."
Sood got humbled by his response and wrote back, "Thank you so much bhai. Words from you give me more power and encourage me to work harder on reuniting them with their loved one Love u loads."
