Alia Bhatt has reacted to the title reveal of Ranbir Kapoor’s Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar and she joked that ‘my guess was close’ about her original guess. In the next rom-com by Luv Ranjan, Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor will share screen time for the first time. The movie generated a lot of talks when its creators baited fans by teasing them with the film's initials and then challenged them to guess the name. Alia Bhatt made an irrational guess and came up with a humorous title for the film. Alia Bhatt has responded to the film's title being finally revealed as "Main Jhoothi Tu Makkaar" in a teaser.
In case you missed it, Alia Bhatt reposted Shraddha Kapoor's post regarding the film's initials on her Instagram account. Alia proposed the name "Tingle Jingle mingle mingle." No point in figuring out that she was off on the movie's name. The film's title and funny teaser video, which also provided a glance at Shraddha and Ranbir's characters, were just revealed by the production team. Although Alia's guess was completely off the mark, she responded to the teaser and made a joke about how close it was.
Alia shared the teaser on her Instagram story. She wrote, “Okay I think my guess was pretty close #justsaying. CAN'T WAIT for this one #TuJhoothiMainMakkaar.”
The first poster for Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar was only unveiled by the film's creators a short while ago. Ranbir is pictured sporting a blue shirt and white jeans, while Shraddha is wearing a pink minidress in the poster. Full-on theatrical emotions can be seen in both of them. Shraddha shared the poster with the hashtag "#TuJhoothiMainMakkaar Nautanki > Couple Goals."
Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar, directed by Luv Ranjan, has Shraddha and Ranbir Kapoor in the key parts. Boney Kapoor and Dimple Kapadia both play important roles in the movie. The movie will premiere on theatre screens on March 8, 2023, the day before Holi.
