Alia Bhatt to wrap up shooting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Gangubai Kathiawadi this month; Reports

On the onset of the pandemic and the nationwide lockdown, the shooting of various films came to a halt. One such film was Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Gangubai Kathiawadi starring Alia Bhatt in the lead roles. Alia Bhatt was regularly shooting for the film when the situation of lockdown was announced and the schedule got interrupted. However, as the shootings have resumed and actors are back working for their pending projects, and so is Alia Bhatt. According to a leading website, Alia has been working day and night, without taking Sundays off to complete the schedule for Gangubai Kathiawadi.

A source close to SLB productions told the website, "Enough time has been lost. The liabilities are multiplying. SLB needs to get on with the shooting and complete the current schedule as soon as possible." "Alia is shooting every single night without a break. This is her first night-shoot and her sleeping hours have gone for a toss. But Alia is a tireless tigress," the source added. After completing the shoot for Gangubai, Alia will straight away start shooting for Rajamouli's RRR with Ram Charan. Earlier, Alia had shared her excitement for RRR on Twitter and wrote, "So so looking forward to joining the team Await #RamarajuforBheemOnOct22!”
