After the blockbuster success of Ala Vaikunthapurramloo, Allu Arjun has teamed up with director Sukumar for his next film. Titled as Pushpa, the first look of this film got released earlier this month. Rashmika Mandanna is playing the female lead in this movie. Meanwhile, from the past few days, it is being reported that there will be the second heroine in the movie. However, the official movie sources have confirmed that there will be no second heroine in the film.
According to the sources, there is no truth in the news of Pushpa featuring two heroines. Rashmika will be the solo lead actress of this film. The shooting of Pushpa was actually supposed to go on floors by now. But it got postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic. We will get the details about the movie's shoot once the situation gets back to the normal state. Pushpa will be a pan-Indian film that will have a simultaneous release in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada. It is the first pan-Indian film of Allu Arjun.
Devi Sri Prasad will be composing the music for this movie. It is being produced by Mythri Movie Makers. The first look posters got a tremendous response from the audiences. The story of the film revolves around the red sandalwood smuggling in the Rayalaseema area. Allu Arjun is playing the role of a smuggler based in Chittoor area. He is also learning the accent to make his role look more authentic. The makers are planning to release the film in 2021.
