AR Rahman makes fun of anchor for speaking in Hindi

AR Rahman is known to be a calm and composed person who likes to stay away from controversies. However, every now and then he used to showcase his witty side to the audience. This time, AR Rahman trolled the host who anchored the 99 audio launch in Chennai. She thanked AR Rahman and welcomed the hero of the film, Ehan Bhat, in Hindi. Quickly, Rahman said, Hindi? and started walking away from the stage. The achor said that she was only trying to welcome Ehan in Hindi. AR Rahman laughed it off and said that it was a joke. The anchor took it sportively and said that it is a privilege to be trolled by the maestro himself.

Speaking about his maiden production venture, AR Rahman said, "It's my pleasure to introduce the film's director Vishwesh Krishnamoorthy and a talented cast comprising Ehan Bhat and Edilsy Vargas. It was a great experience working with icons like Manisha Koirala and Lisa Ray, and music legends Ranjit Barot and Rahul Ram.
