Celebrated music composer-singer AR Rahman's directorial debut, 'Le Musk,' is all set for its international premier. The premier will take place at the Cannes Film Market's Cannes XR event. The Cannes XR event is dedicated to immersive technology and cinematographic content.
The 36-minute film is described as a cinematic sensory experience. This includes virtual reality, with motion, music, and scent blended into the narrative. Reports suggest that the film will be a classic in its own way.
Talking about the film, Rahman said that Scent and Music brings warm memories to the audience. "Aroma and music together bring warm memories subjectively for the audience," Rahman said.
The premise of 'Le Musk,' conceived by Rahman from an original idea by his wife Saira, would follow heiress and musician Juliet Merdinian. Reportedly, The character is a 20 years old orphan, searches out the men who changed her destiny with one overwhelming memory — their scent.
Nora Arnezeder and Guy Burnet star as the leads. Apart from them, Munirih Grace and Mariam Zohrabyan round out the cast. Rahman, besides providing the score, directed the film. The film has a screenplay by Gurachi Phoenix.
