Amidst these tough times of the lockdown, the government of India has decided to bring back some golden memories of our childhood. It has decided to re-telecast a few iconic television serials like Ramayan, Mahabharat, Detective Byomkesh Bakshi, and Circus. With heavy demand from the audiences, it is now airing Shaktimaan as well. Shaktimaan is the first Indian superhero series. It is also the first serial to adopt the superhero concept and add Indian roots to it. It was a highly popular show in those times. The viewers are extremely happy about the return of Shaktimaan. They flooded the social media with nostalgic memories attached to the serial.

Another fan of Shaktimaan tweeted, "No batman, no superman, only #Shaktiman." The whole social media is now getting flooded with the tweets on Shaktimaan. This TV show features Mukesh Khanna as the hero. Many other prominent actors like Vaishnavi Mahant, Surendra Paul and Tom Alter were also a part of this series. Mukesh Khanna was also the co-creator and producer of this show. Shaktimaan which ran for more than eight years had 450 episodes in total.
