A few days back, the Government of India ha announced the re-telecast of some Iconic Indian television shows. Serials like Ramayan, Mahabharat, Circus, and Detective Byomkesh Bakshi are now getting re-telecasted on Doordarshan. This has made the fans aks for the re-telecast of Shaktimaan. For those who don't know, Shaktimaan is the first superhero television serial in our country. Responding to the fan's request, co-creator and the lead actor of the show, Mukesh Khanna revealed that they are in plans of making a sequel for this show.

 
In a recent interview, Mukesh Khanna stated that they are planning for Shaktimaan's sequel from the last couple of years. He said it will be a contemporary show, suiting the sensibilities of the present generation. However, the actor affirmed that it will stick to its roots. He added that they wanted to work on the sequel as people were curious about what happened next in the show.
 
Mukesh Khanna said that he will reveal more about the show once this corona crisis gets over. He said that the demand for Shaktimaan is higher than ever before now. Mukesh also stated that he wanted to do a full-length feature film on the subject. But he had to settle down with the telefilm due to financial constraints.
 
Additionally, a 3D animated series on Shaktimaan is also under making. The trailer of this series got premiered in Comic-Con India last year. Anyways, we have to wait for a few more days to know more details on the sequel and animated series of Shaktimaan.
