It was just yesterday that there were reports that the pre-release event of Balakrishna's Veera Simha Reddy would not take place in Ongole, due to permission problems. However, the event has somehow managed to take place in Ongole itself.
The makers of Nandamuri Balakrishna's upcoming film, Veera Simha Reddy, planned to organize the pre-release event of the film in Ongole. However, the event was surrounded by problems, as the Andhra Pradesh government did not give them permission for the same, owing to the recent incidents that took place in the state.
Despite all that, the event is taking place in Ongole yesterday. Everything is set and ready for the event, which will take place from 6 this evening. Gopichand Malineni is the director of Veera Simha Reddy. Shruti Haasan is the leading lady of the film. SS Thaman is the music director of the film, and the songs that have been released so far have managed to get a following among the audience.
Varalaxmi Sarathkumar will also be seen in the film, in a crucial role. Sources say that she will be seen as Balayya's sister and that the scenes between the two of them are going to be a major high for the entire film. On the other hand, Balayya will once again be seen in a dual role in the film, and both avatars have already been hinted at, in the teasers released so far.
The trailer of Veera Simha Reddy will be released at 8:17 PM yesterday, during the pre-release event. There are good expectations on the film, which has been shot on a lavish budget, with a key faction sequence even being shot in Turkey. Veera Simha Reddy is all set to be released on January 12th, for Sankranthi this year.
