One of the movies most anticipated for 2022 is Brahmastra. Yesterday, September 9, the important roles played by Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Mouni Roy, Amitabh Bachchan, and Nagarjuna in the Ayan Mukerji-created astraverse were released. The audiences have been raving about it ever since. The movie is receiving several compliments on social media. To promote the movie, the entire team did everything possible. Before the film's premiere, a special screening was held just for the fans. A little video from that event, in which Ranbir asked his supporters for something, has since circulated online.
Ranbir Kapoor can be seen in the video standing in front of the television with a microphone while his supporters applaud him. Before the movie started, the actor greeted his admirers and asked them to refrain from posting any leaks on social media. Added Ranbir, “Just 1 request, jo thode bahut spoilers hai is film ke please try and not put it on social media. Because jo bhi audience has not seen it would like to experience it.”
Brahmastra, but, broke records on its first day. It became the highest non-holiday day 1 grosser for a Bollywood film in net terms. Using information from the three multiplex chains, it is projected that the movie will gross between Rs. 32 and Rs. 33 crore net on its opening day in Hindi and more than Rs. 4 crore net in regional dubs, for a total of about Rs. 36.5 crore net. These figures were recorded during the post-pandemic period when it was difficult to find audiences for uncut Hindi films. Ranbir Kapoor achieves his third non-holiday record opening with an estimated Rs. 36.5 cr net opening; the other two movies are Sanju and Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani.
