Bollywood has, for a long time, been far ahead of other language films in India in terms of budgets and financial success. But the Covid era has made a difference in that regard. The pan-Indian chariot race of South Indian films starting with Baahubali has made the south stronger. After COVID, Bollywood is not able to repeat its old big hits. But Prithviraj Sukumaran shares his hope for the Hindi film industry. Prithviraj says one film is enough for Bollywood to come back. Prithviraj's reaction occurred while he was taking part in a film company discussion.
"Once upon a time, we sat around a table and talked about Bollywood movies. How they are making such huge successes and penetrating foreign markets. That time is not far behind. Bollywood is going through a phase right now. A big hit will happen. Maybe, it could be Pathaan," Prithviraj said.
Pathaan is expected to be Shah Rukh Khan's comeback film in Bollywood. Following the release of Zero in 2018, this film will star SRK as the hero. The release of the film Pathaan is on January 25. The action thriller film is being directed by Siddharth Anand. The director made Salaam Namaste, Anjana Anjani, Bang Bang, and War. Deepika Padukone and John Abraham play other important roles in Pathaan. Dimple Kapadia, Shaji Chaudhary, Gautham, and others also star in the film. Fans have high hopes for the film as it would mark King Khan's comeback after a hiatus.
