A new zombie series is all set to hit Netflix next month. The first season of Brazilian zombie series Reality Z will premiere on June 10. It is an official adaptation of the British zombie series Dead Set. It is being bankrolled by Brazilian production house Conspiração. This series marks the first time collaboration between Conspiração and Netflix.

Reality Z got directed by Cláudio Torres. Conspiração is one of the biggest independent film production houses in Brazil. There will be five episodes in total, in the first season. Each episode will run for 50-60 minutes. The show revolves around a zombie apocalypse that imprisons participants and producers of a reality show. How they come out of the crisis forms the main crux of the film. This series will be a zombie spin-off for the popular British reality show Big Brother. Ravel Andrade, Luellem de Castro, Emilio de Mello, Anna Heartmann, Jesus Luz, Carla Ribs, Sabrina Sato, and Guilherme Weber played the pivotal roles in the series. The shooting of this series started in 2019. The post-production works got ended in March this year.
The original series Dead Set was a huge hit among the audiences. Due to its universal appeal, the show now got adapted by the Brazilian makers. We have to see if it gets the same reception as the original or not.
