Brindha’s directorial debut titled ‘Hey Sinamika’ features Dulquer Salmaan, Kajal Aggarwal, and Aditi Rao Hydari

Choreographer Brindha is also known as Brindha Master in the Kollywood film fraternity, is now all set to debut as a director. Her directorial debutant film's title revealed ‘Hey Sinamika’. Dulquer Salmaan, Kajal Aggarwal and Aditi Rao Hydari will be playing the lead roles in this film. Aditi Rao Hydari took to her Instagram to share a picture from the sets in which were the director, Dulquer and herself. She is holding a placard which reveals the title of the film.

‘Hey Sanamika’ coined from Mani Ratnam’s ‘OK Kanmani’. The song track from that film titled Hey Sinamika came out today in 2015. The song was a big hit for A R Rahman. Nithya Menen and Dulquer Salmaan played lead roles in the film. Dulquer and Brindha worked on quite a few projects together. Their latest collaboration was for an advertisement. Many other Indian choreographers including Prabhudheva, Raju Sundaram and Raghava Lawrence, have taken up direction and delivered some great cinema. Brindha master’s interest in direction doesn’t come as a shocker, rather a pleasant surprise. Kajal Aggarwal is currently working on ‘Indian 2’. This is another film under Shankar’s direction. Right now, the shooting of the film is on hold. Actors including Kamal Haasan, Rakul Preet Singh and Siddharth feature in this film. The film’s shooting is to resume soon. The actress will also feature in Tollywood film ‘Mosagallu’, beside Vishnu Manchu, under Jeffrey Gee Chin’s direction. Aditi Rao will next feature in Mani Ratnam’s magnum opus Ponniyin Selvan, Tollywood film V with Nani and The Girl On The Train. Dulquer Salmaan has a feature line up of movies including Praana, Vaan, Oru Bhayangkara Kamukan and Maniyarayile Ashokan.
