Jr NTR and Mohanlal are two powerhouse acting talents who have an incredible screen presence. The duo had earlier worked together for the film Janatha Garage. If the ongoing rumors are anything to go by, they are all set to team up once again for the film RRR. We hear that Mohanlal will play an extended cameo in the film.
According to the sources, Rajamouli has penned an important character in RRR. He wanted to cast a prominent actor for this role. He felt that Mohanlal will be an apt choice for it. His acting prowess and huge stardom will definitely be an add-on for the film. Moreover, both Mohanlal and NTR have acted together in the past and share a great rapport with each other. Thus, Rajamouli thought that casting the Malayalam star will be a good option. Currently, the talks are going on with Mohanlal and an official announcement will be out once he signs the dotted lines.
Meanwhile, the shooting of RRR reached midway. Currently, the production got stalled due to the coronavirus pandemic. The shoot will go back on the floors once everything comes back to a normal state.
RRR features Ram Charan in the other lead role. While NTR is playing the role of Komaram Bheem, Charan is essaying the character of Alluri Seetharamaraju. Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn are playing the other pivotal roles in the movie. RRR is being bankrolled by DVV Danayya under the banner DVV Entertainments. It will hit the screens worldwide on January 8th 2021.
