Buzz: Pooja Hegde to team with Suriya in Aruvaa

Suriya will join hands with director Hari for his 39th film, which got named Aruvaa. Produced by Studio Green, this film will have music by D Imman. Aruvaa is the 6th film for Hari and Suriya after Vel, Aaru and the three Singam films. Aruvaa will mark Imman’s first collaboration with both Suriya and director Hari. The project will go on floors after the lockdown period comes to an end. The film shoot will be completed in a single schedule. Makers are planning to release Aruvaa for a Diwali 2020 release. But we have to wait to see if there will be any reshuffle of dates. As per the latest update, Pooja Hegde will appear as the female lead opposite Suriya in the movie.

Currently, Pooja Hegde is basking in the success of her last Telugu outing Ala Vaikunthapurramloo. She is in huge demand for filmmakers in Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi. Earlier, it was reported that Rashmika Mandanna got approached to play the female lead in Aruvaa. But the new reports suggest that not Rashmika Mandanna, but Pooja is being considered for the Hari directorial. The team will make an official confirmation on the same, very soon. Pooja Hegde is also in consideration for a few other crazy projects in Kollywood. If everything falls in place Aruvaa will mark the comeback of Pooja Hegde to the Tamil film industry after a long gap of 8 years. Meanwhile, Suriya is currently awaiting the release of Sudha Kongara’s Soorarai Pottru. The Ghajini actor also has a film with Vetri Maaran, which got titled Vaadi Vaasal, in the pipeline.
