Ram Charan and Manchu Manoj are close friends right from their childhood days. Recently, Charan even attended the launch event of Manoj's upcoming film Aham Brahmasmi. Meanwhile, we now hear that the duo is now teaming up to remake yesteryear's blockbuster film Billa Ranga. Their respective fathers Chiranjeevi and Mohan Babu played the lead roles in the original version.
According to the reports, both Charan and Manoj are showing interest in remaking this movie. Apparently, they both will jointly produce the film. Currently, they are finding a suitable director who can make certain changes to the film according to the sensibilities of the current audience. The original Billa Ranga got helmed by KSR Das. We have to see who will direct this new version.
Currently, Manchu Manoj is busy shooting for Aham Brahmasmi. This film features Priya Bhavani Shankar as the female lead. This marks the debut of this Tamil beauty in the Telugu film industry. Aham Brahmasmi is being directed by Srikanth N Reddy and produced by Manoj himself.
On the flip side, Ram Charan is shooting for RRR under the direction of SS Rajamouli. Jr NTR is playing the other lead role in this movie. This high budget action drama will hit the screens on January 8th, 2021.
Ram Charan is yet to sign the next movie that he will do after RRR. We are yet to get any clarity on his next movie. Most likely, he'll be doing Acharya with Koratala Siva. Megastar Chiranjeevi plays the lead role.
