Chiranjeevi delays the shoot of Acharya due to the rise in the coronavirus cases; the film may go on floors once again either in August or September

Megastar Chiranjeevi was in the front line in seeking permission from the governments of the Telugu states to resume the shootings of the films. Finally, the Government of Telangana gave its nod for the resumption of film shoots. However, it also released certain guidelines that need to get followed on the sets. Meanwhile, Chiru, who was all excited to start the shoot, is now delaying the commencement of his next film Acharya's works.

Of late, the cases in the Hyderabad area are increasing at a rapid pace. Every day, Hyderabad is recording more than 250 cases. It is not safe for children and elderly people to get out of their houses. Thus, Chiranjeevi has decided to take some time and start shooting only when things will start getting back to a normal stage. If the latest buzz is anything to go by, the Tagore actor is planning to resume the shoot of Acharya either in August or September. We will get an official word about the commencement of shoot very soon.

Directed by Koratala Siva, this film features Kajal Aggarwal as the female lead. Ram Charan is playing an important role in the movie. Charan is also bankrolling the film along with Nirajan Reddy under their respective banners Konidela Production Company and Matinee Entertainments. Mani Sharma is composing the music of it. Acharya got done with almost 40% of its shoot. If the shoot starts in August, the film may hit the screens early next year.
