India has entered into the fourth phase of lockdown. Most of the states are resuming the industries. Slowly, things are getting back to normal. One industry that is still put on hold in the film industry. All the shoots are still stand cancelled and all the theatres got shut. Now, as the restrictions are getting eased down, movie makers are planning to resume their shoots soon with the government's permission. We now hear that the bigwigs of the Telugu film industry will hold a meeting in the presidency of Megastar Chiranjeevi. This meeting will happen tomorrow at Chiru's office.
According to the sources, the board members of the Telugu film industry will attend this meeting. The team will discuss how the shoots should happen in the future. Shooting a film requires a large crew. Especially, if there is a song or a fight shoot, more than 100 people have to participate in it. Thus, the industry has to come up with plans and alternatives to shoot amidst the pandemic. The industry bigwigs will discuss the same in the meeting. They will come out with a few plans and then seek the government's permission to resume the shoots.
Restarting the shoots is the only way to generate income in the film industry. Most of the film workers and the daily wage workers remained jobless from the last couple of months. There are no signs of theatres reopening anytime soon. Thus, industry people are trying their best to get permission from the government to resume their shoot. If everything goes well, the shoots may resume next month, says the sources.
