Actor and politician Nikhil Kumaraswamy, son of former chief minister H D Kumaraswamy will marry Ms.Revathi, as scheduled on April 17 in Bengaluru. As per the sources, the wedding ceremony will be a low key affair for the two families due to the Coronavirus outbreak.
Nikhil got engaged to Revathi in February. The couple was set to get married in a grand gala celebration on April 17. The couple’s wedding ceremony was touted as one of the biggest mega-events of the state. Nikhil’s father former CM HD Kumaraswamy had sent out invites to all the people of his constituencies (Ramanagara and Channapatna) coupled with neighboring districts of Mandya and Hassan.
The preparations for the wedding were in full swing. Kumaraswamy also planned for performing puja at 125 acres wedding venue near Bengaluru to Musiri highway. The complete family and friends were busy in full preparations for the grand gala event as the five lakh invitation cards got sent. Few days before it is unclear whether the wedding has got postponed or not. Sources close to the actor say that the family is trying to look for an alternate option to hold the wedding. But members haven't made a statement regarding the wedding.
As per the latest update, the wedding, scheduled on April 17 in Bengaluru will go as per the plan. But this event will be attended by family members only of up to 20 in number from both bride and bridegroom's family. The wedding will take place at Revathi's residence. Unlike the extravagant plan previously this will be a very personal event only among the family members.
