Darshan Slipper Attack Controversy: Three Persons Get Detained By The Police

Three people have been detained by the Hospet police in the Vijayanagar district about the slipper attack on well-known Kannada actor Darshan. The police department sent out three teams to find the culprits of the slipper attack. Most recent information reports that the teams have detained three suspects in the investigation.

Times Of India reports that the Vijayanagar district SP, Hospet DSP, and other police authorities are looking for the suspects. For those who are unaware, on December 18, Darshan and the Kranti team promoted the film at Hospet. They were releasing the second song from it. Actress Rachita Ram shared the stage with Darshan. Some people from the audience insulted Darshan by throwing slippers at him.

According to reports, Darshan instantly took control of the circumstance and brought everything back to normal. He told the troublemakers, "Aythu Chinna" (Alright darling). A day after the incident, the event's organizers reported the attack to the Hospet police station.

The Kannada actor responded by posting a formal statement on social media. “I realize that my fellow actors and fans are hurt more than me at this point. Such events make a person stronger and not weaker. We have seen similar examples in our own Kannada land. Thank you to all the friends and actors of the film industry who stood for justice at this time”, he tweeted.

“Thanks also to some who tried to steer this event down the wrong path. I have been saying since the beginning that if there are a hundred people who want to spoil it, then there will be millions of others (to stand up to them). This slave is forever indebted to your loving embrace,” read another section of his Kannada statement.
