Director of Vanakkam Chennai and Kaali movies Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi announces her third film

Director Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi made her debut in Kollywood with Vanakkam Chennai, which features Mirchi Shiva, Priya Anand and Rahul Ravindran in the lead roles. After Vanakkam Chennai's success, Kiruthiga came back with Kaali, starring Vijay Antony in the lead role. The film had an interesing premise and was intriguing in parts. after a few years gap, Kiruthiga recently announced her third film. On Twitter Spaces, a new feature of the micro-blogging site, Kiruthiga revealed that her next film is a travel concept. It features young actors Kalidas Jayaram and Tanya Ravichandran in the lead roles.

Talking about her upcoming film, Kiruthiga said, "This is my third directorial venture after Vanakkam Chennai and Kaali. I took some time for this film as I wanted a good story. It has come out well now. The film speaks about the journey of life. Travel forms an integral part of the story. I was keen to cast youngsters in lead characters. Kalidas Jayaram and Tanya Ravichandran will fit the role well. Richard M Nathan, who is known for his quality works, cranks the camera. Pentela Sagar is producing the film on behalf of Rise East Entertainment. The rest of the cast and crew will be announced soon."
