Fans of the DC comics now want Grant Gustin's Flash to appear in the upcoming Ezra Miller's The Flash film

The DC Extended Universe is looking for ways to reimagine itself through various standalone films. Despite the failure of Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice and Justice League, fans loved Shazam and Wonder Woman. DC is looking to recreate the same magic with its upcoming Flash movie starring Ezra Miller.

Recently Miller made an appearance as The Flash in the CW's Arrowverse crossover event, Crisis on Infinite Earths. For a brief moment, Ezra Miller's Flash meets Grant Gustin's Flash. Fans absolutely loved the crossover episode and it quickly became a successful move by the heads of DC.

A fan of the Flash tweeted writing, “Just scrap The Flash movie and put Ezra Miller on TV with Grant Gustin, they’ll have such a nice time together.”

While it is highly unlikely that the upcoming Flash movie will have a major crossover event, fans are hoping that the film might also star Grant Gustin's Flash. Comicbook.com tweeted, “Now that Ezra Miller showed up in the Arrowverse, Crisis on Infinite Earths, it seems only fair that Grant Gustin gets to appear as The Flash in a DC movie.”

There hasn't been any official statement by the studio about the future crossover in the flash films. However, an anonymous source revealed that the upcoming The Flash film could possibly appear in the film. The Flash is confirmed to be based on The Flashpoint Paradox from the comics.

Another twitter user wrote, "Rumors point [to a] ‘cameo’ of The Flash (Grant Gustin) of Arrowverse in The Flash movie. [The] film will adapt the ‘Flashpoint’ arc from comics, and can have a special connection with Crisis on Infinite Earths from The CW."
