Gadhalakonda Ganesh & Chanakya hits digital platforms

Director Harish Shankar remade Tamil blockbuster Jigarthanda in Telugu with the title Gaddalakonda Ganesh. Mega prince Varun Tej played the lead role in the film which also featured Atharva Murali, Mrinalni Ravi, Pooja Hegde and others in crucial roles. Upon release, the film became a big hit at the box-office bringing the director back to the success track. Harish Shankar is on cloud nine with the success of Gadhalakonda Ganesh and he is currently working on the script of his next.

Meanwhile, the film got released in the digital space today. Gadhalakonda Ganesh streams on Hotstar from today and the digital platform brought the movie's rights for a whopping amount. 14 Reels Plus production house ventured into film production for the first time, with the movie. On the other hand, Gopichand's recent movie Gopichand also got released on the digital platform Amazon Prime Video. The film also featured Mehreen Kaur, Nasser, Sunil, Ali, and others. Thiru is the director of the movie while Anil Sunkara produced it under the AK Entertainments banner. Chanakya did not perform well at the box-office and opened to poor reviews from the critics and audiences.
