Hansika Motwani is known as a cute and bubbly girl. Her real-life characters often peek into her films and make people adore her. She started off her career as a child artist and has grown to become a bankable heroine in the Tamil and Telugu film industries.
As she waits for the release of her 50th film titled Maha, she has signed a new film titled My Name is Shruthi. The film went on floors yesterday, July 6, at Filmnagar in Hyderabad. Directed by Srinivas Omkar, the film is being produced by Ramya Burugu and Nagendra Raju under the banner, Vaishnavi Arts. The film is a suspense thriller and marks Hansika's 52nd film in her career.
Apart from Hansika, Murali Sharma, Jayaprakash, Sai Teja, Rajiv Kanakala and Vinodini form the supporting cast. Regarding the film, Hansika said, "I am exhilarated to be a part of this movie. It’s a suspense-thriller centering on an ambitious and independent girl Shruthi, who gets webbed in a dangerous situation uncalled-for. Revealing more than this would be an irreversible blunder as it would turn out to be a spoilsport. . . Having gained experience working in various regional industries for years, actors usually guess what lies ahead in the script during the narrative process. Nonetheless, the narrative by director Srinivas Omkar was completely out of the box. I moved to edge-of-seat during many scenes, and I couldn’t guess what the director had in his mind till the climax. I am confident that twists and turns will amuse audiences in the theatres."
