Vicky Kaushal is one of the rising stars of the Hindi film industry. This promising actor made his debut with the 2012 film Luv Shuv Tey Chicken Khurrana. He got wide fame with the 2015 film Masaan. Within no time, Vicky emerged as a national award-winning actor. Today, the actor celebrates his 32nd birthday. On this occasion, here is a sneak-peek into his life and career.

 
Vicky Kaushal is the son of Bollywood action director Shaam Kaushal. He started off his career as an assistant director with the 2012 film Gangs of Wasseypur. After getting fame with Masaan, Vicky gave another striking performance in the 2016 film Raman Raghav 2.0.
 
2018 is the year that turned Vicky's career. He came up with four films that year and all of them became successful ventures. At first, he appeared in Raazi, alongside Alia Bhatt. Later, he acted in a key role in Ranbir Kapoor's Sanju. Vicky got a rave response for his role in this movie. After that, he appeared in Netflix's successful anthology film Lust Stories. Later, he acted in Anurag Kashyap's troubled love drama Manmarziyaan. His role as DJ Sandz in this film remained as one of the different and best characters portrayed by Vicky. In 2019, Vicky starred in URI: The Surgical Strike. He won Best Actor National Award for this film. This year, Vicky came up with the horror-thriller Bhoot - The Haunted Ship. He will be next seen in the period drama Sarda Uddham Singh. This film will release in early 2021.
