Director AP Arjun has been working on scripts during the lockdown. He has said that he has been working on a script for Jaguar actor Nikhil Kumaraswamy. This is the first time that he will be working with the actor. Nikhil Kumaraswamy's production house NK Entertainment is producing the film as well. Arjun says that he has already written 50% of the script.
Commenting on the film he said, “It’s a commercial entertainer, but the specialty of this concept is that it’s an intense subject which will be close to reality, portraying raw emotions." “Genre-wise, this is a first-of-its-kind attempt from my end, and a completely different genre from my previous films, ranging from Ambari to Kiss,” he adds.
The director says that the film will be purely an entertainer. “It will not have a trace of his political backdrop. It is going to be a pure commercial entertainer,” he says.
The director is using the lockdown period to prepare for the film. “ We are looking to sign up artists mostly coming from a theatre background. However, this is an early stage for the project, and we will be deciding the details once I am done with penning the story,” he says.
The makers of the film made an official announcement on Nikhil Kumaraswamy's birthday. However, the shooting for the film will begin after the actor finishes his previous commitments. The actor was shooting for Vijay Kumar Konda's film before the lockdown.
The actor is also busy with his wedding planning. The actor will tie the know with Revathi after the lockdown. The event is expected to be a low key affair owing to the lockdown. The actor recently deposited a sum of 3,000 to the bank account of the daily wage workers of Sandalwood to help them amid this crisis.
