Another celebrity tested positive for the coronavirus. Popular television actress Indira Verma, who is best known for her role as Ellaria Sand in Game Of Thrones, got tested positive for coronavirus. Indira herself shared the news through an Instagram post. She said that she is in bed with it and its not nice. She asked people to stay safe and be kind to others in this tough period.
"So sad our and so many other shows around the world have gone dark affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. We hope to be back soon and urge you all (and the govt) to support us when we do. Phoenix/ Seagull rising from the ashes. I’m in bed with it and it’s not nice. Stay safe and healthy and be kind to your fellow people," posted Indira on her Instagram page.
Indira was acting in the modern take of Anton Chekhov's play "The Seagull" when she came across the news. Her Game Of Thrones co-star Emilia Clarke is also acting in this play. The makers have currently put this play on hold due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Varma is not the first celebrity to test positive for coronavirus. From the past few days, we have witnessed many actors who got tested positive for the disease. Some of them were Tom Hanks, Rita Wilson, Idris Elba, Kristofer Hivju, Olga Kurylenko, and Rachel Matthews. All of them are currently in isolation. They are asking people to maintain social distancing and to get quarantined at home.
