Imtiaz Ali shared an unseen video clip of Rishi Kapoor

Rishi Kapoor's demise left everyone sad and shocked as he passed away at 67. His co-stars, admirers and fans are constantly sharing stories, photos, and collages of him. As a tribute, the Love Aaj Kal director Imtiaz Ali shared a never seen before a video of Rishi Kapoor from his brother's wedding. The filmmaker also spoke a few words in the memory of Kapoor. He talked about him attending his brother's wedding in Jammu & Kashmir. To follow it up he posted a video of the veteran actor from the wedding.

The video shows Kapoor all suited up for the baraat. Rishi is dancing at the baraat as the procession moves forward. He is raising his hands and swinging legs in celebration alongside Ali's family members and guests. Ali shared the video and captioned it "RK baraat dance in Kashmir". Ali also wrote few words while remembering good times with Kapoor. He wrote, "I invited him to my brother’s wedding in Kashmir. Nobody comes so far, these are formalities. He came. And when the baraat was entering the venue he said -“you guys go in front, I will come in the end”. He recollected the event and informed the fans that Kapoor did that so the attention wouldn't shift from the groom to him. Kapoor succumbed to cancer after battling it for two years. He is dearly missed by his family, friends, and fans. We hope we continue to see even more anecdotes and experiences that his co-stars shared with him.

Time is passing. The other day he was on my set. I was nervous, he was the biggest actor I had worked with. I touched his feet and asked him to guide me. He guided me. Another day I invited him to my brother’s wedding in Kashmir. Nobody comes so far, these are formalities. He came. And when the baraat was entering the venue he said -“you guys go in front, I will come in the end”. I understood later that he did not want the attention to shift from the groom to himself. And today he left. Something precious became past today. But this time will not take him away. I haven’t met him for so long anyway, I will think he is still there, smiling. And I can still think of the little time I could spend with him, and smile with him.
