Irrfan Khan's Son Babil Khan Offers A Glimpse Of Some Of His Late Father's Precious Belongings

Irrfan Khan's fans are given a glimpse into his life by his son Babil, who frequently posts cherished recollections of the late actor on social media. Irrfan Khan's personal possessions are shown in a series of images that Babil shared on Tuesday.

Sharing the images, he added the caption, “Leaving for acting workshop in Mysore. Thought I’d share these things I found at mamma’s farmhouse. 1 and 2. A perfume specially compounded for Ashoke; baba’s character in ‘The namesake’. 3. Actor’s chair for baba while shooting Jurassic World. Party over, back to work, see you guys soon.” Several Irrfan Khan admirers responded to the post by leaving their love and prayers in the comments section. “I love the fact that when you address any monetary item either car or house you make sure to tell your audience that it’s not your and belongs to your mom/ dad. This shows the gratitude and realization you carry within. May you get all that you deserve,” a user said. Another wrote, "Memories." When asked about his plans for the future of his career, Babil responded to ETimes, “I am not planning at all. I want to explore. So planning and exploring can’t happen at the same time. I think I want to explore, I want to take life as it comes and I want to do everything - I want to do masala commercial films, explore that as well and do it well. I want to give my entire being to a character and do slice-of-life drama. I want to try, and explore every kind of genre in films.” In April 2020, Irrfan Khan passed away after losing his cancer battle. Angrezi Medium was the actor's most recent film. The late actor revealed his cancer diagnosis and the fact that he was receiving treatment in the UK in an emotional statement in March 2018. His older son Babil Khan was attending the University of Westminster in London, England when he was receiving treatment. On the professional front, Babil Khan made his acting debut in Triptii Dimri's Anvita Dutt film Qala. His next appearance will be in the Bhopal Gas Tragedy-inspired online series The Railway Men. He is also working on a new film alongside Shoojit Sircar and producer Ronnie Lahiri.
