Hero Siddhu Jonnalagadda recently came up with the film Krishna and his Leela. Directed by Ravikanth Perupu, this film had a direct online release a few days back. On the release day, a photo of Siddhu and Ravikanth went viral on social media. In the picture, we can see both of them kissing each other. This photo raised a lot of controversy in the film circles. Finally, Siddhu responded to the issue. He said that it came from a place of love and it has not done as a publicity stunt.
Speaking in a recent interview with the Times of India, Siddhu said, "It is not something related to the movie promotions. It is a misconception that people said we have done it to promote the film. We know each other for the past 8-9 years. We have seen a lot together. We went through too many things together. We were the two boys who were in this film since day one and we didn't want to let the film go. We wanted to finish the film and we were confident about it. Finally, when it was happening, we were happy and partying at someplace. It just happened as a moment of love. There is nothing regarding publicity in that action."
Siddhu also said that he doesn't want to react to homophobia. He added that the kiss was a gesture of love and has received a lot of support too.
