Reportedly, 'Jaladhara Pumpset Since 1962' will discuss contemporary issues through satirical comedy. Ashish says that the pump set is also a central character in the film. Ashish says that the film will star Indrans and Urvashi in titular roles for the first time.
“Although Urvashi Chechi and Indrans Chettan have acted together before, Indrans Chettan has played minor roles in films in which Chechi is the main character. This is a combo that everyone in Malayalam cinema expects. The characters of both are equally important in the film. The fountain pump set is also a character in the film. That is why the film was given such a name;” said Ashish Chinnappa.
Ashish added that the film will bring the old Indrans and Urvashi baack to Malayalam cinema. “It is a film that discusses a contemporary subject through satire. The location of the film is Kollam. The film seeks to bring back the old Indrans Chettan and Urvashi Chechi in Malayalam cinema;” Ashish added.
Yesterday was the announcement of the film 'Jaladhara Pumpset Since 1962'. Baiju Chellamma, Sagar, Sanitha Sasidharan and Arya Prithviraj produce the film. The film also stars Sagar, Johnny Antony, TG Ravi, Sanusha and Nisha Sarang. Written by Ashish Chinnappa and Prajin MP, the film is narrated by Sanu K Chandran.
