Jr NTR is one of the few star heroes in the industry who doesn't take many gaps between each of his films. The actor makes sure to come up with at least one movie every year. That tradition got broken once in 2009 and after a decade, it happened again in 2019.
Generally, NTR makes sure to release at least one film every year. But after the flop of Kantri in 2008, the actor took a break and retrospected his choices all over again. He wanted to strike back hard and didn't come up with any film in 2009. In 2010, he made a comeback with Adhurs, which became a big hit at the box office.
After a gap of a decade, he now didn't release a single film in the calendar year of 2019. This happened involuntarily as the actor is working for the biggest project of his career, RRR, which is being directed by SS Rajamouli. Generally, Rajamouli takes more than two years to come up with a film and the same thing is repeating with RRR as well. Thus, without having any choice, NTR didn't have any films in 2019. But, he is making sure to give a grand treat in 2020 with this prestigious project.
