“Kadamai Sei Will Be Remade Into Hindi” Says SJ Suryah

This weekend marks the release of director-actor SJ Suryah starrer Kadamaiyai Sei. Yashika Aannand plays the female lead in the movie, which is helmed by Venkat Raghavan, who also worked on the 2016 movie Muthina Kathirikai, which starred Sundar C.

On Sunday, the team had a press conference for the movie at a well-known Chennai movie theatre, where the cast and crew of the movie discussed their experiences making it.

In the press meet, SJ Suryah said, "Producer Ramesh sir is very talented. This film happened because of his hard work. Zakir Hussain helped him in this effort. When director Venkat narrated the script to me, I could sense that its content was an important one. I have never done anything that I've not liked. The story of this film is a unique one. This is why I felt that I should act in this film. The character I play in this film is also a very different one. It's a character that is in a coma of sorts. I was required to remain calm, but at the same time express the character's feelings through my acting. While dubbing for it, there were scenes in which my mouth would remain closed while my throat would move, making words, and I had to match that. This will be a very different film. I always give complete freedom to my directors. I will never do something beyond what they tell me to do. This film will definitely turn out to be a hit. It will also get remade in Hindi." The movie will be released on August 12 in theatres.
