It looks like the re-telecast of the Ramayan on Doordarshan has brought back childhood memories! Kangana Ranaut's team recently posted a picture from a school play. In the school play, Kangana took on the role of Sita!
Kangana's team took to Instagram to post the throwback picture. It was captioned it, "Fun fact #1: Doordarshan started re-broadcasting 1980s Ramayana due to a massive surge in demands making it one of the most popular shows right now. Fun fact #2: Cute little Kangana performing a play adaption of Ramayana in her school is the cutest thing you’ll see today."
Kangana's sister also posted the picture on her twitter page with the caption, " Ramayana being on-air here sharing a picture of Kangana from school Ramayana play, makeup costume direction by Kangana, she was hardly 13 years old used to get a lot of scolding from papa for dressing up like this but she never cared."
Kangana is currently spending the lockdown with her family in Himachal Pradesh. Her team recently posted a picture of Kangan spending time with her family. The photo showed the actress playing board games with her family. The caption read, "Lockdown = family + sun + new games and tricks. What are y'all playing? Tell us in the comments below."
Meanwhile, Kangana is looking forward to the release of her film 'Thalaivi.' In the film, Kangana plays the role of late J. Jayalalithaa, the former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. The film also stars Arvind Swamy as MG Ramachandra. The film will hit the theatres on June 26th, 2020. The film will come out in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
