India has lost two iconic actors a couple of days back. Popular actor Irrfan Khan passed away due to the colon infection. The very next day, another legendary actor Rishi Kapoor breathed his last due to leukemia. Both the actors battled with cancer from the last two years. Yesterday, Rishi Kapoor Tehrvi's ceremony got held at his residence in Mumbai. Rishi's daughter Riddhima Kapoor shared the pictures from the event and stated that Rishi's legacy will live on forever.
Riddhima posted a picture of herself standing beside Rishi's portrait. She then wrote, 'Love you always Papa.' After some time, she posted another picture of herself praying with Ranbir Kapoor. She captioned the picture as, 'Your legacy will live on forever. We love you.' The Tehrvi event witnessed the presence of Rishi's wife Neetu Kapoor and Alia Bhatt as well. All of them offered their prayers to the iconic actor.
Rishi Kapoor passed away on the 30th of April. The whole Indian film industry was shell shocked by his demise. The actor was 67-years-old. He acted in more than 100 films in a career spanning over 50 years. It was a huge loss for the Hindi film industry. His final rites happened on the same night of his demise. Only a few people have attended the funeral. Riddhima couldn't be there as she was in Delhi at that time. She drove to Mumbai the next day as no flights are operating due to the coronavirus pandemic. Rishi was last seen in the film The Body.
