Kareena Kapoor and Karisma Kapoor paid tribute to Rajiv Kapoor on their individual Instagram stories on Thursday, the anniversary of his passing. The eldest son of Raj Kapoor, Rajiv Kapoor, passed away and entered the afterlife two years ago. At the age of 58, the actor passed away after experiencing a heart attack.

 
The first person to post was Kareena Kapoor. She posted a young snapshot of her uncle on her Instagram stories. She captioned, “Miss you always Chimpu uncle.” Older sister Karisma also shared a vintage photo of Raj Kapoor with his three kids, Randhir, Rishi, and Rajiv, on her Instagram Stories. She captioned the image, "Chimpu uncle you are missed #RajivKapoor". “We miss you and love you the most Chimpu Mama", stated Armaan Jain, the sister of Rajiv Kapoor and the son of Rima Kapoor.
 
On social media, other family members also shared their love for him. Neetu Kapoor, whose husband Rishi passed away a year before Rajiv, uploaded a photo of the deceased brothers. "Miss you both a year already," she wrote.
 
Rajiv Kapoor, who was well-known for his role in Ram Teri Ganga Maili, went away in 2021 as a result of a heart attack. In 1983, the actor made his Bollywood debut in the film Ek Jaan Hain Hum. Rajiv Kapoor's final film, Toolsidas Junior, was released posthumously. It starred Sanjay Dutt, Dalip Tahil, and others. The acclaimed sports drama featured the story of a former snooker champion who lost a significant tournament just before retiring. Years later, his son assumed the duty of helping his father in achieving his goal.
