It is well known that director Lokesh Kanagaraj will be directing actor Vijay next for 'Thalapathy 67'. Fans are eagerly waiting for the official announcement regarding the project. But now actor Karthi has once again confirmed that the young director will be teaming up with Vijay soon.
Actor Karthi's upcoming film 'Sardar' is all set to hit the screens on October 21. The star actor in an recent interview , has revealed once again that director Lokesh Kanagraj will be working on 'Thalapathy 67' first. Then they would start working on 'Kaithi 2' only in 2023.
By the end of the next year, Karthi is certain that production on Kaithi 2 will begin. In the movie "Kaithi," Harish Uthaman plays Adaikalam, who is imprisoned and identifies Karthi's character as Dilli. It is very likely that "Kaithi 2" will focus on Dilli's activities before to entering prison and the relationship between Dilli and Adaikalam.
It is also rumoured that Vijay will wrap up the filming of "Varisu" by the end of this month . He will begin work on Lokesh's movie after a brief break. Vijay and Lokesh Kanagaraj previously collaborated on the film "Master." After the initial COVID pandemic lockdown in 2020, "Master" was the first Tamil movie to be released in theatres. The movie was a smash hit. It broke several previously held records.
