On August 12, "Viruman" starring actors Karthi and Aditi Shankar, will be released in theatres. The actor is actively promoting the film as there are only two days until its release. The movie is produced by Suriya and directed by Muthiah. Karthi, Aditi Shankar, Soori, Saranya Ponvannan, Prakash Raj, Rajkiran, Karunas, and Vadivukkarasi appear in the rural family drama movie "Viruman."
During a promotional event on August 9, actor Karthi reportedly responded to the query of whether he and Suriya will collaborate on on-screen roles. The actor said that if a decent story comes their way, he and his brother will work together and star in a movie.
He went on to say that although they had looked into a few screenplays and had apparently been intending to perform together for a while, none of them had proven successful. He reportedly went on to say that a movie starring the two of them will undoubtedly be made because Suriya, the actor, has been extremely particular about it.
Fans anticipate that Karthi will work with his brother Suriya after the actor previously appeared on-screen with Jyothika, his sister-in-law for the movie "Thambi."
In terms of his career, Karthi has two more movies coming out this year. On September 30, Mani Ratnam's epic "Ponniyin Selvan 1" with Karthi in the lead is scheduled for release in theatres, and his movie "Sardar" with Raashi Khanna is planned for a Diwali 2022 release. Additionally, he has declared that he will soon work with Lokesh Kanagaraj on "Kaithi 2." In other news, Karthi will play the protagonist role in the upcoming movie directed by Raju Murugan.
