Young and happening Tamil filmmaker, Karthik Subbaraj, famous for his directorial projects like Petta, Pizza, Jagame Thandiram and others is apparently on board for Ram Charan and Shankar’s RC15.
It is heard that Karthik Subbaraj was involved with Rc15’s scripting process as he provided a few creative inputs for the political thriller. Renowned Tamil lyricist, R Vivek is also apparently a key member of the creative team. Both Karthik and Vivek are providing additional screenplay to the Ram Charan starrer, imply reports.
Shankar is collaborating with these two young talents, hoping they can add their own spin to the political thriller. He will be locking the final draft very soon.
Meanwhile, the makers are planning to take the project onto the floors at the earliest. Initially, it was speculated that RC15 will be hitting the floors on the 8th of September and a special song featuring the lead pair Ram Charan and Kiara Advani would be shot in this schedule. But that isn't the case now. This schedule has been postponed indefinitely.
RC15 is billed to be a full-on commercial political thriller. It highlights the flaws in the modern-day political infrastructure. Shankar is treading familiar territories as he is blending commercial elements and social messages for the Ram Charan starrer.
