The festival of colours here! However, with the number of COVID-19 cases on the rise, celebrating the festival at home is advisable. Super Star Mahesh Babu also advised his fans to stay home and stay safe while conveying his happy wishes.

Mahesh Babu's wife Namrata Shirodkar also extended the advice. While sharing a colourful photo wishing everyone a Happy Holi, Namrata wrote, " Happy Holi everyone! Today is a day of colours and joy but is also a reminder of the challenging times ahead.. Keep the celebrations small... with your family. Follow all the possible precautions! Hoping you all have a safe and vibrant Holi."
 
Meanwhile, Mahesh Babu's Maharshi bagged a National Award for Best Popular Film for Providing Wholesome Entertainment and Best Choreography.
 
Mahesh had taken to his social media to write a note of gratitude. " Honoured and humbled to have received this prestigious recognition!! #Maharshi will always remain special. Proud of @directorvamshi for bringing a socially relevant story to light. Big thank you to the jury, the entire team of Maharshi and our audience," Mahesh wrote along with a poster of the film.
 
On the work front, Mahesh Babu is currently working on his film Sarkaru Vaari Paata. Directed by Parasuram, the film stars Keerthy Suresh in a leading role.
