Makers of Annaatthe Movie Reconfirms Diwali Release Of Rajinikanth Film

Sun Pictures is easily one of the biggest production houses in Tamil cinema right now. From Rajinikanth's Annaatthe to Thalapathy Vijay's Beast, they are bankrolling some of the biggest projects in Kollywood at present. Coming to Annaatthe, the film is a rural entertainer directed by Siruthai Siva. Since Rajinikanth is currently in the US, the team is waiting for him to return to resume the shooting. Once Rajinikanth is back, he will get back to work soon. On July 1, the makers of Annaatthe reconfirmed that the film will hit the theatres on Diwali, which falls on November 4 this year. In addition to the announcement, they shared a new poster of Annaatthe.

The Annaatthe poster shows Rajinikanth clad in a silk saree and dhoti and letting out a laugh as he faces another side of the camera. Sharing the new poster, the makers wrote,

Last year, the makers of Annaatthe released a video to confirm the release date of Annaatthe. The film features an ensemble cast including Nayanthara, Keerthy Suresh, Prakash Raj, Soori, Meena, and Khushbu. The film's music is composed by D Imman. Soon, details about the upcoming shooting schedule will be out.
