Kerala's Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan also mentioned Allu Arjun's contribution, in a recent press meet.
Allu Arjun recently posted on social media stating, "The COVID-19 pandemic has disrupted many lives. In these difficult times with humility, I would like to donate One Crore twenty-five lakhs to the People of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana & Kerala. I am hopeful together we will fight & end this pandemic soon."
The actor also donated 50 lakhs each to the Telugu states. Along with the Chief Minister, many Keralaities are appreciating the kindheartedness of the actor. On the career front, the actor was last seen in the film

He is now preparing to start shooting for his next film Pushpa. This film was actually supposed to start by the end of March, but it now got postponed indefinitely due to the coronavirus pandemic. The first look poster of the film got released yesterday on the occasion of Allu Arjun's birthday. Pushpa is being directed by Sukumar.
Rashmika Mandanna is the female lead of it. Mythri Movie Makers is bankrolling the project.
