Mammootty And Parvathy's Puzhu Goes On Floors With A Pooja In Kerala

Malayalam actor Mammootty and Parvathy Thiruvothu have joined hands for a film titled Puzhu. Their upcoming film has been titled Puzhu and the flick has gone on floors on Tuesday, August 17. Since today marks the auspicious day of Chingam 1 (Kerala New Year), the makers have decided to choose this day to start the film. Followed by a muhurat, the Puzhu team had a formal switch-on ceremony. Mammootty arrived at the pooja at his stylish best. He wore a classy printed shirt, beige pants and stylish sunglasses. Mammootty was also sporting long hair and looked absolutely dapper.

Puzhu is helmed by debutant director Ratheena. Though Ratheena is making her debut as a filmmaker with Puzhu, she is not new to the Malayalam film industry. She had worked in Mollywood for several years. Revathy Asha is one of the celebrities who has worked with her. Puzhu's story is based on Harshad's work, while Harshad, Sharfu and Suhas are working on the screenplay. This film marks Mammootty and Parvathy's first collaboration. Puzhu is produced by S George and will be distributed by Dulquer Salmaan's Wayfarer Films.
